Love Notes for the First Forty Days

Written in the depths of my own postpartum season, these love notes are a heartfelt gesture to all women becoming mothers or mothers again. 

Everything said or unsaid during this season has a way of staying with mothers and so I hope these particular words can be whatever a new mother needs. Perhaps a reminder, encouragement, solidarity, or simply something ritual for the early days.
